Found a Samsung phone online at a major retailer and thought I'd buy locally. This price at Frye's was $100 less on a new galaxy that was new unlocked, not open box, and no activation of new service required. Arrived at customer service desk after verifying in web it's in stock. The guy at customer service at first said they would match. Then after waiting around like no one wanted to help me anymore or seemed that my business wasn't as important as everyone else being helped buying new phones. Finally, my phone and they ask me for 200$ more than the match. I mentioned it was a price match and they came down $100 but refused to honor the manager in CS desk verification of the deal. They were not going to honor it, they argued saying that guy was unreachable now, he just went to lunch, they couldn't locate it online, so I offered to show them it was pulled up already on my phone. I had already showed CS Mgr the deal. I can't believe that after all the restructuring they went through in sales and corporatly to provide better CS. Failed to even get PAR for the course on policy. We spend our money we work hard for to at least get enough respect to be greated in the store and asked if I could be helped. I have not be helped or asked in the last half dozen visits. No wonder online retailers are winning.
