Don’t believe their inventory count. We bought two monitors, and supposedly you could also get a wireless keyboard/mouse combo for slightly less than half price if you bought it at the same time. Despite their computer saying they had two keyboard Combos in stock, even with several employees and us looking, it was not to be found. I give the employees who helped us much credit, and during that 20 minutes or so, lots of employees offered to help. What irked me was despite one employee telling us we had the option to order the keyboard combo at the same time as the monitor purchase with free shipping, the guy who checked us out insisted we had to pay around $7 to ship it, because it didn’t satisfy the minimum purchase amount for shipping, even though we were spending close to $250 in store. He suggested we drive to another Best Buy. No thanks, not in Atlanta traffic. I said, why don’t we do store pickup since that’s free? No dice, since their inventory shows they have 2, but they don’t have it, we can’t do store pickup. He refused to work with us. You can’t get free shipping when you’re spending over $200?!? I called Best Buy customer service the next day, mostly to find out if in the future we run across a similar issue, that maybe we could talk to a manager who could give us free shipping. Of course the call center is operated in India, and it took me over 10 minutes of talking to the customer service rep to have her understand why I was calling, have her ask her supervisor a question that didn’t help me, and have her promise to have a supervisor call back (didn’t happen). So the customer is punished because their inventory system is wrong. Thanks a lot Best Buy, for “customer no-service”.

Not entirely sure how Best Buy stays in business. The employees are not educated on any of the products, they stand around and don't assist in addressing customers needs, and the ones that do feel pushy when it comes to sales. The entire process leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Aside from immediate tech needs and ludicrously low tv prices... I'm not sure why someone would choose to go here. Truly unfortunate. .. later date edit: So Bob at Best Buy support reached out and I commend their customer service and review support lines on their efforts. Their suggestion to deal with the negative experience is to raise my hand and speak to the manager of the location. This passive reaction is exactly what I'm talking about. Great Customer Service and the customer's experience should not be initiated by the customer. It should be provided by the company and its employees. It's part of the culture. If you are relying on the customer to notify management that your warm bodies are not performing and doing their jobs, then your management is the problem.

The customer service here is terrible! Tried to get a refund for something that never was delivered and was flat out refused help. Never going back!
